Lacquerous: The Netflix of Nail Polish

Lacquerous is this new website where for $18 a month you can actually rent designer nail polish.

You get 3 bottles of the colors of your choice in a pre-paid package, ship them back when you're finished and receive 3 new colors. They carry the latest colors by Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, Dolce&Gabbana, MAC, and NARS.

This service is pretty exclusive and you need to request an invite.

Now you're probably wondering, since this is a sharing service, is it unhygienic? Actually no, if you get your nails done at a salon you are sharing nail polish with other clients. Also there is no water in nail polish for bacteria to grow in. Lacquerous also request 3 uses per bottle and that you keep the next user in mind when you ship.

Right about now I'm wishing I could get paid to write my blogs so I can get on board with this! Yeah, it seems totally self indulgent in an economic crisis, but I guess if you're a nail polish nut, you might actually be saving money...but probably not.
